SNOUT: a low-cost stormwater BMP that prevents oil, grit and floatable debris from polluting our waterways.

  • The "SNOUT": a hooded outlet cover that converts any sumped stormwater structure into an oil/ debris/ water separator—an effective, low-cost "Best Management Practice". 
  • Attaches to catch basin wall over any type pipe.
  • Models for rectangular and round structures.
  • Contains floatables and oil within the catch basin or structure.
  • Installation Kits, Flow Restrictors, Bio-Skirt® and TrashScreens available.
  • A removable water tight clean-out port is standard for easy access to pipe.
